Jessikill

About

Jessica Espinoza has been singing on stage since she was 5 years old. She is the 1st place winner of multiple contests in the San Antonio our Part of Town contest and finalist winner 7 years in a row. In her teenage years she volunteered for a non profit school and Music organization called, Network for Young Artists, that promotes self esteem in children by performance, or singing. As a young adult she also became a teacher for the students at this school that she was once a member of.

As a teenager she also donated her time to sing at Christmas parties at the Lighthouse for the Blind for several years and also for the AT&T Wish Connection and Race for The Cure organizations.

As a young teen she was also was accepted as a singer for Radio Disney in San Antonio.

At 18 she was hired at Six Flags Fiesta Texas as a lead singer to her own band on her own stage.

Jessica left Six Flags to appear on the hit show X-Factor USA Season 2 show where she appeared before over 56 million people live. The audience and judges gave her a standing ovation. Judges Simon Cowel, Britney Spears, LA Reid and Demi Lavato had nothing but great things to say and proclaimed that they loved her stage presence and voice and that she had the X-FACTOR.

After X Factor Jessica dedicated herself to learning singing skills untouchable by most. She learned to hold a note until you feel it by combining amazing heavy metal tones and melismatic techniques.

She created JESSIKILL because she just couldn’t get enough Iron Maiden, Dio, or Judas Priest. With heavy metal as her inspiration, she began writing music that includes a combination of brute force and subtlety amid intimacy, and vulnerability, in combination with fearsome screech on full-on throttle metal!

Pretty soon her name grew in reputation and in 2015 Jessikill won Best Hard Rock/Metal Band AND Top Local Band of the year AND Best Female performer in The San Antonio Nightlife Awards

Since winning:

She toured and opened for Saxon, Marty Friedman, Dio Disciples, Krokus, LA Guns, Loudness, Sebastian Bach, Dragonforce, Queensryche, Dangerous Toys, Symphony X, Overkill, Riot, John 5, Michael Schenker, Jake E Lee, Geoff Tate, Ratchet Dolls, Faster Pussycat, Ross the Boss, Accept, Flyleaf, Udo Dirkschneider – toured with Michael Angelo Batio, Grim Reaper, Yngwie Malmsteen and Tim Ripper Owens as their backup band.
