Their compassion may be rooted in the many adversities and tragedies the band has endured for the past thirty years. Held Hostage has toured as direct support for such bands as Metal Allegiance, Quiet Riot, The Rods, Uli Jon Roth, Joe Lynn Turner, Manowar, Ross the Boss Band, Molly Hatchet, Eddie Money, Bennie Mardones etc.
